About Chase

Chase is a leading financial services firm helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products. Its mission is to create engaged, lifelong relationships and put customers at the heart of everything it does. The Consumer & Community Banking division leads the US in credit card sales and deposit growth while ranking first in customer satisfaction.

About the Role

This is a high-impact Senior Associate role within the Business Banking Lending Finance team, sitting inside Chase’s Global Finance & Business Management function. You will bring analytical expertise directly to small business lending strategy — turning complex performance and pricing questions into clear, decision-ready insights.

Partnering closely with Product, Risk, Credit Decisioning, Legal, and Compliance, you will support pricing analysis, forecasting, and management reporting across retail and wholesale lending portfolios. You will translate business cases into financial performance analysis, contribute to initiatives from concept through implementation and ongoing monitoring, and identify opportunities to improve management reporting efficiency — all while maintaining strong governance and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Credit Decisioning, and Risk partners to provide finance support for lending pricing strategy from concept through implementation and ongoing monitoring
  • Develop and maintain financial analysis models and tooling in partnership with modelling teams, ensuring strong controls, clear documentation, and long-term sustainability
  • Evaluate relationship-based pricing and discount requests through economic assessments including profitability, shareholder value added, and return on equity — and document recommendations
  • Support core pricing economics by governing key economic, capital, and expense assumptions and delivering decision-ready analysis for product strategy business cases
  • Refresh and maintain pricing parameters to ensure timely updates to rate grids, floors and ceilings, segmentation, and other pricing levers
  • Lead and contribute to ad hoc analyses and deep dives on key business questions, including pricing tests to assess trade-offs across rate, volume, risk, and profitability
  • Own management dashboards and reporting, identifying opportunities to modernise through data centralisation and the development of intelligent solutions and user tools

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in finance, analytics, pricing, or business management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to solve complex problems using data-driven analysis
  • Proven ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence partners at multiple levels
  • Experience developing business cases and recommendations that connect analysis to decision-making
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with strong data analytics capability including data mining and manipulation
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to present clearly and tell a story with data
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, support automation, and partner effectively with product teams
  • Strong attention to detail with a well-organised, solutions-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lending products and pricing including rate grids, floors and ceilings, segmentation, and pricing parameter governance
  • Experience building financial models and analytics tooling with strong control standards
  • Familiarity with wholesale and retail lending portfolios and profitability frameworks used in financial performance assessment
  • SQL and Python for data extraction, automation, and analysis
  • Tableau and Alteryx (or similar) to modernise reporting and improve efficiency
  • Data governance and controls including data quality checks, reconciliations, and lineage
  • Cloud and data platform experience such as Snowflake or Databricks is a plus
