About the Role
This Associate role sits within Global Finance & Business Management, supporting the Asset & Wealth Management Technology line of business. You will shape financial outcomes through insight-led planning and analysis, influencing key decisions by delivering executive-ready reporting, forecasting, and allocation transparency.
The role offers high visibility, cross-firm partnership, and strong opportunities to modernise analytics through automation. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to deliver clear insights on expense performance and key business drivers — championing process improvement and automation while maintaining strong controls, data integrity, and stakeholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely financials across reports and business reviews, explaining results and variances based on business drivers
- Develop and present robust analysis covering annual budget, quarterly and monthly forecasts, and variance drivers
- Coordinate expense, headcount, and allocation planning as part of the annual planning cycle and load budgets into financial systems
- Manage technology allocation processes by understanding business drivers, validating accuracy, and resolving stakeholder queries on variances
- Prepare executive presentations, analyses, and supporting materials for senior management and key internal clients
- Perform ad hoc analysis by working with large datasets and translating results into meaningful insights
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting, reduce cycle times, and improve efficiency
- Build forecasting and allocation models to improve accuracy, transparency, and decision support
- Partner with key stakeholders to build strong relationships and deliver aligned outcomes
- Own financial data quality and escalate issues proactively with clear remediation actions
- Adapt to changing business requirements and incorporate updates across recurring reporting and analytics deliverables
Required Qualifications
- CA or MBA (Finance) qualification
- 7+ years of FP&A experience, ideally within financial services
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities for analysis and executive storytelling
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders and maintain composure in senior forums
- Ability to execute accurately under pressure while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Hyperion Essbase and/or MS Access for reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in Tableau, Python, and/or Alteryx to enhance analytics, automation, and visualisation
- Ability to synthesise multiple datasets into cohesive narratives, recommendations, and executive materials
- Intellectual curiosity with the ability to proactively anticipate stakeholder questions
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with changing priorities
- Strong partnership-building skills across finance and business teams with the ability to learn new processes quickly
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements that streamline planning and reporting cycles
